There is no need for you to give your fingerprints when you apply for a job as a foreign worker. You can instead provide your fingerprints as part of your application form. Your fingerprints are stored securely for three years, and may be used to confirm your identity when necessary. If any of your fingerprints are not stored securely, the department may not be able to verify your identity. Fingerprints can be collected by contacting the Central Fingerprinting Unit on 13 26 40 or emailing with your fingerprints being 'not encrypted'.
